¡Hola!

I'm Mrs. Hobbs, aka Señora Hobbs. I am hispanic and bilingual. I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household and learned a lot from my parents. They are from Ecuador, a small country in South America. I was also educated locally. I am an alumni of Alexandria Country Day School, Alexandria Senior High, and Louisiana College. I started teaching in 2015, and I received my masters in education from Louisiana College in 2016. I've taught in Marksville High School, Alexandria Senior High, and most recently here at Country Day. I've been teaching at Country Day since 2018. Overall, I have experience teaching grades 3rd-12th. I've also led two international field trips and look forward to leading more! I can't wait to teach your child more about the Spanish language and about various hispanic cultures!

My name is Isabel Leon Ancona, and I am a new teacher at Country Day. I am from Mérida, Yucatan, México, and I just moved here along with my husband and pup. In 2016, I graduated from ENSY in Yucatan with a teaching degree in English. Since then, I've taught various grades and ages, and I am so excited to teach you Spanish!

My name is Marilyn Ramos, and I am a new teacher at Country Day. I will be teaching Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Biology 1.

I am from Utuado, Puerto Rico, and I am a devoted Christian wife and mom.

In 1999, I graduated from Pontificia Universidad Catolica with a degree in Biology. I have dedicated my life to God and to helping others. I am so excited to teach you Spanish and Biology this year!
